My Dear Hammock…

Swing me to sleep

My Hammock

Right, left, right, left

Slow and graceful

Invite your pals

In this sacred while

The wind to sing

Its whispers of music

Whilst the trees sway

Sweet unison ballet

And the sun, its soft

Eternal spotlight

Tell my burdens

To pack belongings

And wander off in

And disappear

Cradle me

My old dear

Let me revel

In your touch

Your everlasting

Nice poem. It really makes me recall some lazy afternoons spent in my hammock.
